Student Culinary Council

SCC LogoThe Student Culinary Council is a student-driven program developed by Sodexo that creates an engaged, responsive relationship with students to help build a more fulfilling student dining experience.
Focused meeting topics and exclusive student activities give members an active role in defining and refining our dining program. They do this through four key aspects at the core of this initiative:
•    Talk - Students learn about what is great about their dining program
•    Taste - Members try new and exciting dishes that showcase the focus on trending flavors
•    Learn - Members learn about food, trends, nutrition, and more
•    Share - Students can then share what they learned with others
Ultimately, the SCC provides students with a positive environment where they can learn and share while helping to define the student experience. This is a paid position! You'll also be able to enter the dining hall for free & grab food. We meet every 4th Wednesday of the month in the Thomas conference room. Some SCC members help out with events & other activities like sampling limited time offers @ Point Break, assisting with dining survey tablings, taste tests, new student orientation tablings & other promotional activities.
